Why are we doing this?

To develop community goals and objectives based on Together We Dream campaign results. The results from this engagement process will identify community priorities and allow for the development of a work plan to achieve our ideal community. Included in this plan will be goals and measurements to report our progress back to you.

How did it start?

In 2007, community leaders from the City, County, University, labour and business sectors met with the United Way / Centraide Windsor-Essex County to develop the proposed campaign. As a result the United Way / Centraide Windsor - Essex County was identified as the facilitator for the community visioning process.

With funding from Ontario Trillium Foundation and leadership from the Community Planning Committee, the United Way / Centraide Windsor - Essex County facilitated community conversation with over 700 residents in an effort to obtain initial feedback regarding their vision for the future that formed the bases for the eleven statements in the survey.

When will results be released?

Results are scheduled to be released during the summer of 2009
